100 Clicks Per Day (Your Path to Freedom Through Digital Products)
Hey my name is Bo. Welcome to the Paid to Bring Peace Podcast. In this episode I want to talk about a concept that I call 100 clicks per day. And I'm going to explain why if you want to make a steady stream of sales in your business, ideally passive automated type of sales in your business, if you want to generate sales of your digital products every single day, then you need to keep this milestone in mind and aim for this. And in this short episode I'm going to explain exactly why that is, and why you should aim for this number.
Speaker 1:If you boil everything down into like a practical, tangible target that you need to aim for to really be successful with an online business and have a lot of passive automated income coming in, which is what everyone is really striving for in some way is like to have a business that gives them freedom, right? And most people don't have a business that gives them very much freedom. Most people are stuck doing client work and trading their time for money in some capacity, and their business is just not very automated. If you want to achieve that dream lifestyle where you can have passive income coming in from digital products, online courses, maybe a group coaching program, or something that's very highly leveraged, then what you need to be aiming for is 100 clicks per day. What that means is you need to have 100 people on the internet clicking on a link of some kind that leads to a paid product or a sales funnel of some kind.
Speaker 1:And you need to get to a point where you can generate those 100 clicks every single day. If you can get a hundred people to click a link to a product or a sales funnel every day, your chances of success will be very high. Because a lot of this game just boils down to the math. You have to understand the math equation behind success. The reason why I say you need a hundred clicks per day is because I've been in this game a long time, and I can tell you what the average conversion rates are from someone clicking a link to someone becoming a paying customer of yours.
Speaker 1:Let's say you send those 100 clicks per day to a paid product. Let's say it's a $200 product. If you get 100 clicks per day to a $200 product, well, a $200 product will convert at approximately 2%, give or take. Sometimes you can do better than that, sometimes it's worse than that. But on average, a product that's say like under a couple hundred bucks usually converts around 2%.
Speaker 1:So if you can get 100 clicks per day to $200 product, you might be able to make about two sales per day from that. Two sales per day of a $200 product, that's $400 a day. That's $12,000 a month. That's a pretty healthy 6 figure income just from getting 100 clicks a day and just making two sales a day. Even if you were to only make one sale a day, that's still $6,000 a month, which is more than most people make in their nine to five job.
Speaker 1:Or let's say you were to send those 100 clicks into a sales funnel. Let's say you send them to a traditional opt in page where someone has to give you their name and email in order to get some sort of free training or join your free webinar or email course or whatever it is, if you get 100 clicks to that landing page you should be able to get at least 30 sign ups out of those 100 clicks. So that would be like a 30% opt in rate. So those hundred clicks a day turn into 30 email subscribers. So that means you're growing your email list by about 30 people per day.
Speaker 1:That's 900 a month, almost a thousand new people coming onto your email list every single month. And the conversion rate from an email list into a paying customer is somewhere between 25%. Meaning between 25% of people who join your email list will buy your paid product at some point in time. So if you get 30 email subscribers per day and you convert 2% of them into customers, what's 2% of 30? Well, it'd be about 0.6.
Speaker 1:So that would be about one new customer every two days, give or take. That's about 15 customers per month. And that's on the low end. That's only converting 2%. You can do a lot better than that if your marketing is good.
Speaker 1:So if you convert 2%, that's 15 customers per month. Let's say you're selling a higher priced product. Let's say it's a signature product that's a thousand dollars. Well 15 sales a month of a thousand dollar product, that's $15,000 a month from those 100 clicks per day. So this is why I say a hundred clicks per day, because if you just do the math, you should be able to make a very good living online if you can generate a hundred clicks a day.
Speaker 1:So then the question is how do you generate those 100 clicks per day? Well, that's what you see everybody out there doing when they're creating content on social media, YouTube videos, TikTok, Instagram, blog posts, being a guest on someone else's podcast, whatever the strategy is, the reason people are doing that is because they're trying to generate clicks. Basically at the end of the day, what they're trying to do is get exposure and get people to become aware of their message and get them interested enough so that they want to click some type of link to join their email list, to buy their product, or whatever the goal is. It begins with the click, you know. So that's what everyone is trying to do when you see people posting content.
Speaker 1:It's basically just they're trying to generate clicks. And I think it's important to just remember that that's what you're trying to do. And of course, we could talk about like the quality of the click. It's not just about getting clicks because you could just post clickbait content and get a bunch of clicks, but it's not going to lead to anything. You want high quality clicks, right?
Speaker 1:You want people clicking your links who are already highly interested in what you do, who already have some sort of trust with you maybe. So it's not just about the number of clicks, it's also about the quality of clicks, but I just want to give you like a general target to aim for. 100 clicks per day. And you can measure this by just looking at your website traffic, or having tracking links on your links so you can see like how many people are clicking those every day. And by measuring that you can start to get an idea of how far away you are from hitting that goal and how far away you are from generating a consistent stream of sales in your business.
Speaker 1:If you want to generate say like one sale a day at minimum, then you should be aiming for this hundred clicks per day. Of course you can do a lot more than that. If you want to make 10 sales a day, then maybe you need a thousand clicks a day, or 500 clicks a day, or something like that. But just keep that target in mind. And if you think about this, this is another reason why it's not a good idea to sell super low ticket products if you don't have a way of generating a lot of clicks.
Speaker 1:This is the reason why when most people get into online business they start with a high ticket product or service of some kind, or at least that's the way you should start. Because in the beginning you're not getting a lot of clicks, so you have to charge a lot more so that you can make the business sustainable. Like if you were just selling a $10 product or something, then you're gonna need a lot more than a hundred clicks per day to make a decent income. But even at 100 clicks per day you need to be selling something that I would say is at least a couple hundred dollars in order to make that a good business. If you have a $200 product and you get 100 clicks a day, you should be able to make at least one to two sales a day, and so that can be a pretty good full time income.
Speaker 1:But if you were charging less than $200 for your product, then you're going to need more than 100 clicks per day probably. So I would say the sweet spot for pricing your products, if you're generating 100 clicks a day and you want to turn those clicks into a healthy full time income and also have a more passive kind of automated type of business, then the sweet spot for your pricing is going to be somewhere between like $200 and say $2,000 That's typically the price range you see when it comes to digital products, especially products that can be sold through an automated sales funnel of some kind. If you go above $2,000 then it becomes a lot less passive because usually you need to have way more touch points with the person. You might have to get them into a conversation of some kind, whether that's in the DMs or a sales call or something. And so that $200 to $2,000 is the sweet spot because that's the price at which you can make a pretty good income from just one sale a day, and it's the price point at which you can automate your sales, and people can buy from just like a sales page, and they don't need to necessarily speak with you first before they purchase your product.
Speaker 1:So that is the sweet spot. Dollars 200 to $2,000 So all you need to do to have a very very healthy online business is create a digital product of some kind, a high quality product that you can sell for somewhere between $200 and $2,000 Then you build some type of sales process around that. That could be a sales page, it could be a full automated sales sequence that sells the product. Usually the higher price the product is, the more robust your marketing needs to be and you have to have more touch points. So like for a $200 product you might be able to send those clicks directly to the sales page.
Speaker 1:But if you're getting up above like $500 then you might have to send them into a sales funnel of some kind with multiple touch points like an email marketing sequence or a webinar or something where you're building more trust and and you have to sell them a little bit more on the product. So the higher price the product is the more steps there are in the process. But at the end of the day, if you have all those systems set up to sell your product passively, the goal remains the same which is just a hundred clicks a day minimum. That's how you generate daily sales in your business and make a full time 6 figure income from selling highly leveraged digital products. About five years ago I started a business with a business partner and we sold an online course and it was a $200 online course.
Speaker 1:We would have charged a lot more, but we were selling this in Asia where people didn't have as much disposable income. So we decided on a $200 price point. And we built a whole sales funnel around this online course. We had an automated funnel that had a series of emails and videos that sent people to a sales page, and then had a special offer where people could buy that product. And based on the data, I'm going to look at it right now and tell you exactly what the numbers are.
Speaker 1:I have like the detailed spreadsheet of everything. So in the course of about eleven months we generated 3,749 sales, and those sales came from 159,402 leads. So email, email subscribers. And if you do the math on that, that is a 2.35% conversion rate. So we converted 2.35% of our email subscribers into sales for that course.
Speaker 1:And the equivalent of this kind of course in like The US market, or if you're in more of a first world kind of country, the equivalent would be more like a $1,000 course. Because we were selling this course in The Philippines where people make a lot less money than they do in The US and other countries, so a $200 course over there would be more like a $500 or $1,000 course in The US, or Europe, or Australia, or something. So if you were selling like a $500 course in The U. S, you should be able to convert about 2% of people into customers through an automated sales funnel. So let's do the math again.
Speaker 1:Let's say you can send 100 clicks per day into that sales funnel that sells your $500 course. And let's say you can get a 50% opt in rate, which is definitely doable. So for every hundred people that land on that landing page, 50 of them sign up and actually go through that automated sales sequence. And if you convert 2% of those leads into sales, which is about average, that would be one sale per day. Because 2% of fifty, fifty people per day from those hundred clicks, 50 people are actually signing up and giving you their email, 2% of those 50 is one person.
Speaker 1:So that's one sale per day. If you were able to get 100 clicks per day, fifty leads per day, you would be making about one sale per day of your $500 course, or maybe $1,000 course. But let's just say it's a $500 course. One sale per day of a $500 course, that's $15,000 a month. So this is based on real data.
Speaker 1:And based on all the data experience I've had selling over a million dollars worth of digital products in my career, I can pretty confidently say that 100 clicks per day is the target you should be aiming for if you want to make a sale per day of your digital product priced between $200 and $2,000 So just keep that target in mind. And if you need help building out this automated system and just understanding all the pieces of the puzzle that are required to get this right, then I just put together a free email course that you can go through or you can go to paidtobringpeace.com daily. Paidtobringpeace dot com daily. In that course, I'll show you how to make daily sales of your digital products using automated selling systems. Hope to see you there, and I'll talk to you in the next episode.
